August 2003
The
new table tennis season commences on Monday 29 September 2003.
Teams
intending to play in the normal league structure this season must return a
completed copy of the enclosed 'Form
ADTTA Match Secretary' to the Match Secretary along with fees as described
below, for each team entered, by 5pm on Monday 1 September 2003.
Completed
forms may be returned electronically.
This form should include addresses and telephone numbers (unless
ex-directory or for some other reason which requires that privacy be
maintained) of all players along with dates of birth of juniors and
cadets. A meeting of the Executive
Committee is scheduled to take place on Monday 1 September 2003 at 7.00pm to
set up the League structure for the season.
In
the space provided in the enclosed 'Form ADTTA Match Secretary' please let the
Match Secretary know if you do not agree to the following:
á
the
home telephone numbers and email addresses of all players (who supply that
information) will be printed in the Handbook for 2003-2004. Players who supply email addresses will
be sent a weekly news bulletin with current league tables attached.
á
playersÕ
names and possibly photographs may be published in the Evening Express or on
the Association Web Site from time to time as part of the normal Association
news reporting process.
For
season 2003-2004 the fee for entering a team into one of the local leagues
consists of two elements and these are:
á
Aberdeen
and District Table Tennis Association Player Registration Fee (£10.00 per
player older than 17 years on 31 December 2003 and £6 for players aged 17 years
or younger on 31 December 2003)
á
Scottish
Table Tennis Association Player Registration Fee (£15.00 per player older than
17 years on 31 December 2003 and £7.50 for players aged 17 years or younger on
31 December 2003).
This
means that:
á
a
team of three players all of whom are over 17 years old on 31 December 2003
will have to pay £75 (ie three times £25)
á
a
team of three players plus one reserve all of whom are over 17 years old on 31
December 2003 will have to pay £100 (ie four times £25)
á
a
team with two players over 17 and two under 17 will have to pay £77 (ie two
times £25 plus two times £13.50)
Clubs
which conform to the standards defined in Section 3 of the Constitution and
Rules should apply to ADTTA for Club Membership by completing the pertinent
section in the Entry Form. Clubs
which last year applied successfully for ADTTA Club Membership will be members
again automatically this season.
Any such Clubs should pay the reduced fees as outlined on the form and
in the Constitution and Rules.
Other applicants should forward the whole fee. If the application is successful then reimbursement will be
made by ADTTA at a later point.
Please note that there is no Team Fee this year and so 3.3.4 of the
Constitution and Rules does not apply.
All reductions should thus be computed from 3.3.6.
